Calculate your heart rate? Know the recipe for heart

A heart rate is number of beats of your heart in a minute; generally adults have heart rate of 60-100 beats in a minute. Heart rate and pulse rate are not different things. You can get the heart rate by measuring your pulse.

Let’s check the pulse

On your left hand, find the tendon on radial artery (place where you wear the wrist watch, a place just below the thumb), place two fingers on it and count the beat for a minute. You can also count the beat for just 15 seconds and then multiply the number of beats by 4 thus getting the correct count of a minute.
