Handling your emotional problems:

At times of anxiety, practice breathing slowly
for a few minutes. Try and distance the thoughts that are making you anxious.
Think of something calm and serene, and slow down your mind.

Practice of deep breathing, listening OM
chanting, candle meditation gives stability from thoughts in mind and makes
individual peaceful.

When feeling angry and irritated, calming your
mind, counting back from 10 to 1, distracting yourself helps, e.g. planning of future or best movements of life etc.

Even when feeling afraid, deal with it by asking
yourself following questions:

What is under my control?

Am I unnecessarily worrying about the worst
thing that can happen?
·
When I have been stressed in the past, how I
managed?
·
What are the things that I can do to help myself
and be positive?

Feeling lonely and sad is also a quite common.
Stay connected with others. Communication can help you to connect with family
and friends. Call up people whom you haven’t spoken to and surprise them.
Discuss happy events, common interest, exchange cooking tips, share music.

If you afraid too much, think of all people who
got this covid infections and they successfully recovered from this.
7.
If any of these emotions persist for several
days. Despite you are trying to get out of it, talk about it with someone. If
the feeling worsen, person may feel helpless and hopeless. In such cases take
support from professional and doctors.
Emotional issues after recovery:

3. People who do not understand the illness well may actually keep you at a distance, which is also very stressing and isolating.
4. You may experience feeling of guilt that you were not able to work or care for others. This may lead to feeling of depression, helplessness or frustration.
