Spirulina supplement during pandemic

Today’s need:

While most of populations, are searching immunity boosting product during the time of pandemic, other set of individuals are engaged in marketing their own so called good products as immunity booster. Most of population do not have knowledge to read nutritional information given on supplements while other set of health products do not give nutritional information on product.

Check your supplement products

Any nutritional supplement that you find in market or online or informed by any person should have AGMARK or fssai stamp on it, which assures the safety of product and authenticity of nutritional information given.

Beware of money making supplement product

Most of products marketed to you, through online or any other source, give you either false information about nutrition of product or add very little of nutrients just for name sake. For e.g. Product AAA markets front side of product with exaggerated benefit of zinc however, zinc present in a single tablet is just 1 mg, on the other hand your body needs 40 mg of zinc in a day. Eating product AAA is just as waste as eating chips for you, as it’s not giving you any nutrients that it is claiming. And this happened because most of individuals do not check nutritional information given at the back of product.

Don’t purchase any product randomly as because product has ‘’immunity booster’’ tag line. During the time of pandemic relying only on diet does just not suffice the nutrients for strong immunity.

Diet + supplement = Immunity

Vegetarian diet works best in combinations because none of single food will confer you all nutrients. For e.g. If you take grains will give you fibers, minerals but lack in proteins, if you take milk will provide you good quality proteins but will lack vitamins. Most of vegetarian diet lacks good quality proteins, iron, vitamin B12 and vitamin A. As because rich sources of these nutrients are meat, fish, liver organ and others non-vegetarian sources (avoid non vegetarian foods as they can cause fatty liver, raises bad cholesterol levels and risk of heart attack).

In this case, spirulina becomes super food for vegetarians, and is worth of purchasing spirulina supplements than any other supplements.
